Beaded Watch Bands

Happy April Fools! Check out these hilarious craft tutorials, just in time for April Fools Day at Crafterhours

More of the beaded, changeable watch bands we featured earlier last month. I made a bunch extra to give for teacher gifts. My fav is the red one. I'm always getting compliments on it and people mistaking me for a Georgia Bulldogs fan. Sorry -- I'm not a Georgia native. What can I say? I don't think it would be possible to have too many of these. Color combos, fancy vs casual ... one for every day of the week! :)

Though we did not use an online tutorial to make these (we had the fabulous Sarah P. show us how), we did find a great tutorial on making beaded watch bands at Sisters' Stuff.

Quick Projects

Here are the watch bracelets that I made the other day. It was so much fun learning how to make these fun pieces. Thanks Sarah and Melanie for showing me how.
Here are some frayed burp clothes that I have been working on this past week. I have TONS of girlfriends that are expecting around the same time I am and I thought theses were too cute and would be great for gifts. For a tutorial on these super easy burp cloths click HERE.
I absolutely love leg warmers for kids, they are too cute. I don't know if they bring me back to being a kid in the 80's and wearing them with my super skinny jeans with the zippers on the ankles so you can get your feet in and out of them or what, but they are too cute. I was shocked when I went to the store to get them for my niece for her birthday and they were $10. I was not willing to pay that price for half a sock so I found this great tutorial that is SUPER easy from Samster Mommy Here. What is so great about them is you use your old socks or get a pair of socks on sale like these:

And they turn into these adorable Leg Warmers:

Beaded Watch Bands

Back in October I made a couple of beaded watch bands at a class taught by our good friends Sarah and Melanie. I love the bands. They allow me to wear a watch and a bracelet all at once. So when Sarah and Melanie said they were getting together to make more I signed up. Today I made the pink band with the matching earrings. Watch bands is definitely a new hobby of mine. Melony was there today too and made some really cute bands, we will have to get them posted as well.
